(Canada PR)
Canada Federal skilled workers is a program designed by the government to provide permanent
settlement option for people on the basis of their abilities and skills. It is
a point based visa which requires you to pocket at least 67 points to qualify.
The points can be claimed based on the following parameters:-
1) Education

University degree at the Doctoral (PhD) level or equal- 25

University degree at the

from May 2013 Canadian government has introduced a process of going through the
Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) where foreign degrees,diplomas certificates
etc are compared with the Canadian credentials to check their equivalence
before applying for Federal Skilled worker visa.

has completed their education outside Canada has to undergo Educational

Trades Program(FSTP)
The Federal Skilled
Trades Program is for the applicants who are qualified trade workers and want
to migrate to Canada permanently after receiving a offer of employment.
The government
approves only 3000 applications each year under this visa category where no
more than 100 applications for a particular occupation is considered for
processing each year for Category A while there is no cap on Category B.

years before applying.

Parents and
Grandparents super visa makes your parents to get Parents or Grandparents of
people living in Canada as Canadian citizens or Permanent residents can visit
them to meet and spend quality time on this visa which is called Super Visa.
The visa is valid for 10 years and the applicant can stay for a period of 2
years each time without renewing the Visa within the span o 10 years.

Eligibility for
Applying
1) Should have
business idea that is convincible enough to get a letter of support from designated
angel investor group or venture capital fund. You must secure a minimum

level of CLB 5 in either English or French for all four language abilities.
3) Should have
completed at least one year of post-secondary education

Canada (CIC) to share your personal information

programs you should meet the following conditions :-

Have a valid study
permit and intended employment must be an essential part of your program of
study in Canada.

Your employment must
be part of your academic program, certified by a letter from a responsible
academic official of the institution.
o
Your co-op or
internship employment cannot form more than 50% (percent) of the total program
of study.
Work in Canada after
Graduation:-
There are many options
to stay and gain valuable Canadian experience after completion of your course
and later you can even apply for Permanent Residency if you fulfil the
criteria.
If you have graduated
from:-

A public
post-secondary institution, such as a college, trade/technical school,
university or CEGEP (in Quebec), or

A private
post-secondary institution that operates under the same rules and regulations

A private secondary or

hours or longer leading to a diplôme d’études professionnelles (DEP)

A Canadian private
institution authorized by provincial statute to confer degrees but only
if you are enrolled in one of the programs of study leading to a degree as
authorized by the province and not in all programs of study offered by the
private institution.
You can apply for post
study work permit within 90 days of getting your transcript of passing the
course and received notification from the institute that after meeting all the
requirements you are now eligible to get the Degree/Diploma/Certificate
Note:-You can get the
work permit of the duration equal to your course of study but maximum of 3
years.

You can help your

Work Permit(LMO Based)
Every year thousands of people go to Canada
to work there temporarily on work permit. To be able to work in Canada
temporarily the visa applicant must hold an offer of employment or employment
contract from a Canadian employer and a positive LMO from Human Resources and
Skills Development Canada (HRSDC).However some jobs do not require LMOs
Basic requirement to be able to Apply for
work permit visa the visa aspirant must:-
1) Have an employment contract from a
Canadian Employer.
2) A positive LMO from Human Resources and
Skills Development Canada (HRSDC) for which the employer lodges an application
to HRSDC demonstrating the need for the foreign employer and their failure to
locate any local Canadian citizen or permanent resident for the nominated job.
If the HRSDC gets satisfied they issue a positive LMO to proceed.
3) Satisfy the immigration officer that you
will leave the country once your employment ends.
4) Should prove that you are financially
strong to support yourself and family if they are staying along with you and
would not be requiring any financial support by the government of Canada.
5)
Obey all Canadian laws and do not have any criminal convictions or offences
6) Not hold any critical medical
conditions.
7) Not have worked in Canada for one or
more periods totalling four years after April 1, 2011,
(with certain exceptions)
Privileges:-
Work permit visa:-
1) Allows you to call your family to stay
with you and your family members can study and work in Canada.
2) Allows you to stay in Canada for 4 years
in Canada.
3) Being on Work permit you can apply or
permanent residency.
If you are currently working or plan to
work in Canada, you should keep track of the total time you have worked and
plan to work in Canada. Once you have completed four years of work as a
temporary foreign worker in Canada, you will not be eligible to work in Canada
again until another period of four years has passed
